Job Requirements
- High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-2 years related experience preferably in a medical setting with insurance billing
- Proficient in the use of computers and related software such as Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Ability to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to adapt to supporting software applications

- 1-2 years related experience preferably in a medical setting with insurance billing

Job Duties
- Schedule and input all appointments scheduling module in a timely and efficient manner
- Assure all pre-procedure/preoperative activities are scheduled or completed
- Manage patient cancellations and center cancellations and additions to schedule in accordance with center scheduling parameters
- Print patient schedule and pull patient charts daily
- Facilitate the admission process by professionally greeting patients and visitors and obtaining patient identification and insurance information
- Assemble and maintain patient medical and financial records confidentially and securely
- Complete front-end process of billing procedure entering all information into the registration module
- Perform insurance verification and complete processes for prior authorizations or other actions required by payors
- Assist with patient transportation if qualified per company policy
- Ensure appropriate signatures on all necessary charts and admissions data per company policies and procedures
- Ensure accuracy in scanning and filing documents within 24 hours of visit including physician reports
- Communicate procedure and insurance changes to internal parties and update patient records immediately
- Perform daily encounter checks to assure reporting accuracy
- Coordinate collection, processing, maintenance, storage, retrieval, documentation, and distribution of medical records per policy
- Maintain logs of medical record releases
- Provide information to parties engaged in research or study projects in accordance with policy
- Oversee office materials including inventory shipments and deliveries
- Perform other duties as assigned
