Job Requirements
- Three years of related experience
- minimum one year of front desk/receptionist and scheduling experience in a healthcare setting
- proven experience with insurance and authorization verification
- prior cash handling experience
- possess knowledge of third party payors including federal, state and private health plans
- demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology
- ability to work in an interactive environment
- excellent customer service skills
- excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- ability to articulate complex ideas clearly
- possess professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, judgment and accountability
- must be able to work various hours and locations
- may be required to float to other sites
- must be able to work overtime
- subject to criminal background check
- subject to pre-employment physical
Job Qualifications
- Three years of related experience
- at least one year of front desk/receptionist and scheduling experience in a healthcare setting
- proven experience with insurance and authorization verification

Job Duties
- Perform and coordinate general front office duties
- manage reception and greeting of patients
- collect co-payments accurately
- schedule patient appointments
- handle referral and authorization processes
- serve as a resource for patients, physicians, staff and ambulatory care service managers
- assist with insurance and authorization verification
- maintain professional communication with diverse audiences
