Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical office administrative assistant, receptionist, or coordinator role
  • Ability to handle electronic medical records accurately
  • Preferred bilingual in Spanish
  • Preferred Certified Medical Assistant certification
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday during scheduled hours
  • Commitment to adhere to COVID-19 vaccination recommendations
  • Compliance with workplace tobacco and drug-free policy

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of direct medical office administrative assistant, receptionist, or coordinator experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant preferred to provide coverage for medical assistant duties including screening patients with depression screening, pain management assessment, and taking vitals

Job Duties

  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Check patients in and out using electronic medical record, verify insurance, collect account balances
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, and deliver messages to providers promptly
  • Assist providers with clerical duties such as scanning and faxing
  • Perform other duties as assigned
