Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to operate multi-line phone systems
  • excellent communication skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • availability to work on-site in Kalamazoo, Michigan
  • availability for short-term, part-time contract Monday through Friday for 1 to 3 weeks

Job Qualifications

  • previous experience in front desk or receptionist role preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to operate multi-line phone systems

Job Duties

  • greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring an excellent first impression
  • manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and redirect them appropriately
  • maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and presentable at all times
  • provide concierge services to assist visitors with inquiries and needs
  • handle switchboard operations efficiently, managing phone lines ranging from 1 to 10
  • respond promptly to inbound calls with professionalism and accuracy
  • coordinate schedules and appointments as required
  • collaborate with team members to ensure seamless front desk operations
  • uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
