Job Requirements

  • Experience using Dentrix, EagleSoft, or similar software
  • previous experience in dental office or medical receptionist role
  • excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • proficiency in computerized scheduling and record management
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • detail-oriented
  • strong problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers
  • maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
  • manage patient check-in and check-out processes
  • coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • handle patient inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
  • assist with insurance verification and billing processes
  • perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • manage inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed
  • coordinate and oversee office events and meetings
