Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of five years experience in customer service
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Required to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Corrected vision and hearing to normal range
- Comfortable working under stressful conditions with occasional interruptions
- Willingness to screen visitors for contagious conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of five years experience in customer service
- Proven exemplary customer service skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
- Strong conflict management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications with ability to learn new software quickly
Job Duties
- Acknowledge,greet and assist visitors and guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Serve as a liaison between patients, families and clinical staff to facilitate communication
- Enforce hospital visitation and screening guidelines to ensure safety
- Provide emotional support to families of patients during their hospital visits
- Monitor supply levels at reception and manage inventory as needed
- Address and seek expedited solutions to complaints, problems and special requests
- Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Guest Services Supervisor
