Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in concierge, front desk, or customer service roles preferred
- Patience and empathy for seniors
- Ability to work the specified hours Monday to Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle behaviors associated with dementia and aging
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in concierge, front desk, or customer service roles preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Patience and empathy for seniors and those with cognitive impairments
- Basic understanding of security procedures
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Establish first impressions by providing a welcoming and friendly reception to residents, families, prospective residents, guests, and employees
- Serve as a primary source of information and assistance regarding community services and events
- Monitor and ensure security of the premises during assigned shifts
- Respond promptly to resident and visitor inquiries and requests
- Manage front desk operations including telephone communication, visitor check-in, and mail distribution
- Maintain a professional, focused, and detail-oriented approach in all interactions
- Provide support to staff and residents with sensitivity to the needs of individuals experiencing dementia or other aging-related behaviors
