Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and patrol assigned property areas regularly, including stairs
- Ability to work part-time with varying shifts
- Dependability and punctuality
- Effective communication skills
- Basic proficiency with security equipment preferred
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Commitment to safety and resident service
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in security, concierge, or property management preferred
- Strong observational and reporting skills
- Ability to walk and patrol assigned property areas regularly
- Proficiency with security and safety systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Dependability and punctuality
Job Duties
- Ensure the safety of guests, employees and company assets through constant patrol and observation of all assigned areas and reporting activities in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures
- Promote positive and courteous public relations to all tenants, visitors and guests
- Monitor and maintain control of facility access points and permitted areas of entry and respond to sounding alarms ensuring the safety of employees, guests and company assets
- Gain and maintain proficiency with life safety system and central security panel of buildings
- Prepare reports based upon observations, information and occurrences to ensure compliance with departmental standard operating procedures
- Communicate with Community Director on safety issues
- Tour properties and monitor building operations
- Maintain daily logs and shift reports
- Adhere to Security Policies and Procedures manual
- Perform all other duties as assigned
