Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking motivated Front Desk Clerks, both full-time and part-time, to join their team at The Westin Buffalo, a premier AAA Four Diamond hotel located in Buffalo, New York. Job Requirements
- No high school diploma or GED required
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, as well as bend and climb stairs throughout shifts
Job Qualifications
- Good interpersonal communication skills in person and by phone
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Previous front desk experience preferred
- Ability to multitask and function professionally under pressure
Job Duties
- Greet and register guests via a centralized registration system and coordinate with housekeeping as needed
- Manage cash and credit card transactions while keeping accurate paperwork
- Resolve small guest issues immediately, delivering items to guests as needed
- Monitor and balance the daily figures, post room and tax charges on guest accounts
