Job Requirements
- minimum 6 months prior cash handling experience preferred
- minimum 1 year of relevant face-to-face guest service experience preferred
- willing and able to work full-time schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- availability to work 3:00pm to 11:45pm shifts with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain guest confidentiality and privacy
Job Qualifications
- minimum 1 year of face-to-face guest service experience
- demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently
- problem-solving skills to handle guest complaints effectively
- knowledge of hotel management software is a plus
Job Duties
- welcome guests to the property and provide exceptional service by anticipating needs and resolving complaints
- manage guest check-ins and check-outs including early and late arrivals and walk-ins
- enhance guest experiences by offering upgrades when available and promoting MGM Rewards enrollment and benefits
- collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to meet guest expectations and special requests
- process payments handle cash and credit transactions and ensure accuracy in charges and credits
- control and issue room keys while maintaining guest security privacy and confidentiality
