Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • One year of work-related experience preferably in customer service, hotel industry, management, or related fields
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience with data entry and database management
  • Telephone etiquette skills
  • Understanding and experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Previous experience as a Guest Services Agent preferred
  • Bilingual communication skills preferred

Job Duties

  • Serve as concierge to guests, making reservations, providing directions, and recommending attractions
  • Review guest reservation status and assist with making choices using suggestive selling techniques
  • Accommodate guests with registration, assign rooms, generate room cards, and assist with special requests
  • Verify payment methods, adhere to credit and cash-handling policies, post charges, and handle safe deposit boxes
  • Input guest information into property management system, maintain front desk cleanliness, and manage guest folios
  • Coordinate closely with housekeeping and maintenance departments regarding room status and guest requests
  • Attend departmental meetings, report unusual occurrences, and understand safety and emergency procedures
  • Perform additional tasks to meet or exceed guest satisfaction
