Job Duties

  • Checking guests in and out of the hotel
  • managing and receiving reservations made online or by phone
  • verifying guests' payment methods during check-in
  • assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any special offers or promotions
  • providing guests with information about the hotel and local attractions
  • serving as a host at conferences and events held at the hotel
  • maintaining positive guest relations at all times
  • communicating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other staff to ensure guests' needs are met
  • communicating with staff on the previous shift to manage guests' arrivals and reservations
  • doing laundry when necessary
