Job Duties
- Checking guests in and out of the hotel
- managing and receiving reservations made online or by phone
- verifying guests' payment methods during check-in
- assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any special offers or promotions
- providing guests with information about the hotel and local attractions
- serving as a host at conferences and events held at the hotel
- maintaining positive guest relations at all times
- communicating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other staff to ensure guests' needs are met
- communicating with staff on the previous shift to manage guests' arrivals and reservations
- doing laundry when necessary
