- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum of 6 months previous work experience in a guest service position
- Ability to work independently
- Good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Experience in customer service roles such as receptionist, administrative assistant, or medical receptionist preferred

- Experience with SMS or similar property management system is a plus
Job Duties
- Review arrivals noting special requests, blocking rooms as needed
- Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, professional and friendly manner
- Answer all phone calls promptly and knowledgeably, always ensuring complete and accurate information
- Complete all items on checklist by end of shift
- Conduct pre-assignment of hotel rooms, which includes VIPs, repeat guests, all packages, and any special requests
- Follow established key control policy
- Ensure proper credit policies are followed
- Open, secure, and balance out daily shift bank, which involves counting and verifying cash, check, and credit card transactions occurring while on duty
- Monitor room availability throughout the day
- Research guest requests and create memorable amenities
