Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1 to 3 months related experience
  • solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
  • exceptional customer service skills
  • ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • basic computer and administrative skills
  • availability to work a flexible schedule
  • maintain a valid driver’s license with no major violations

Job Duties

  • Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
  • answer telephone
  • post charges including room, food, and telephone
  • compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests
  • make and confirm reservations
  • monitor room availability and block rooms
  • program wake-up calls
  • handle guest mail and messages
  • perform check-out services
  • open and close shifts making cash drops as necessary
  • maintain market stock and coffee area
  • provide guests with information on hotel services and amenities
  • provide guests with directions and local area information
  • ensure cleanliness of front office, lobby, and surrounding areas
  • assist in checking fixtures and equipment for proper operations and report deficiencies
