- Proven experience as a front desk agent preferred

Job Duties
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- Issue room keys and provide escort instructions
- Date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages
- Transmit and receive messages using telephone, fax, and switchboard
- Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, and local attractions
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts
- Compute bills, collect payments and make change
- Make, confirm, and cancel guest reservations
- Post charges for room, food, liquor, or telephone
- Make transportation, restaurant, or entertainment reservations
- Deposit guest valuables in hotel safe
- Order complimentary items for special guests
- Enforce hotel credit policies
- Account for cash and make deposits
- Communicate effectively with other hotel departments
- Greet guests warmly and cross sell other hotels
- Perform other related duties as required
