  • Proven experience as a front desk agent preferred
  • Prioritization and time management skills required

Job Duties

  • Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
  • Issue room keys and provide escort instructions
  • Date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages
  • Transmit and receive messages using telephone, fax, and switchboard
  • Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, and local attractions
  • Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts
  • Compute bills, collect payments and make change
  • Make, confirm, and cancel guest reservations
  • Post charges for room, food, liquor, or telephone
  • Make transportation, restaurant, or entertainment reservations
  • Deposit guest valuables in hotel safe
  • Order complimentary items for special guests
  • Enforce hotel credit policies
  • Account for cash and make deposits
  • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments
  • Greet guests warmly and cross sell other hotels
  • Perform other related duties as required
