Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift 30 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending, stooping, and using stairs
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Available to work flexible shifts
- Compliance with hotel emergency procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in front desk or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with computer operations and phone systems
- Knowledge of hotel policies and local area attractions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain professional
Job Duties
- Be ready to begin work at the specified time and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time unless redirected by management
- Greet guests and check them in and out with friendliness, speed and accuracy
- Maintain all paperwork as required by your shift and initial and date when applicable
- Check registration cards for completeness, accuracy, and legibility
- Maintain accuracy in handling cash and balancing shift report
- Operate switchboard and transfer calls as required by shift and take guest messages with accuracy
- Keep all business confidential on and off duty
