Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No prior related work experience required
- No supervisory experience required
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift, move, and carry objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Ability to use computers for data entry and report generation

Job Duties
- Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations and assigning rooms
- Issue and activate room keys
- Handle all types of guest payments including cash, checks, debit, and credit cards
- Manage guest account postings, including resolving disputed charges and late check-out fees
- Attend to guest calls, messages, requests, inquiries, and concerns
- Coordinate with the housekeeping department to ensure rooms are clean and ready for guest arrivals
- Provide guests and visitors with parking procedures, direct bell staff as needed
- Offer directions and hotel and local area information to guests
- Prepare daily reports of arrivals and departures and verify the accuracy of special request reports
- Complete cashier and closing reports using the hotel’s computer system
- Process personal and traveler’s checks from guests
- Calculate cash drawer totals at the beginning and end of shifts
- Balance receipts and deliver according to accounting specifications
- Adhere to all company safety, security policies, and procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance and confidentiality of company information
- Greet guests professionally, anticipate and meet their service needs
- Assist guests with disabilities
- Use clear and professional language on the phone and with colleagues
- Foster positive working relationships
- Comply with quality assurance standards
- Perform physical activities including standing, walking, and moving objects up to 10 pounds
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors
