Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing room keys
  • process all guest payments including cash, checks, debit, and credit
  • handle all guest check-outs, resolve late and disputed charges
  • answer and process guest calls, messages, requests, questions, and concerns
  • coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are ready for check-in
  • communicate parking procedures and dispatch bell or valet staff
  • provide guests with directions and information about the hotel and local area
  • run and verify daily reports of arrivals and departures
  • complete cashier and closing reports
  • count and balance cash bank at beginning and end of shifts
  • follow all safety and security policies and procedures
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome and assist guests, including individuals with disabilities
  • communicate with clear and professional language
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned
