Job Requirements
- Background screening for previous criminal history
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of computers and facsimile machines
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
- Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- May occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds
Job Qualifications
- At least high school diploma or G.E.D.
- Preferably 1 year of experience in customer service or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data entry
- Effective communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to handle stressful situations and multitask
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems after training
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensure appropriate guest check-in and check-out
- Provide courteous and professional guest services
- Handle front office, PBX, and concierge duties
- Maintain updated room status reports and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance
- Use suggestive selling techniques to promote rooms and services
- Process reservations and manage guest accounts accurately
- Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
