Job Requirements

  • Background screening for previous criminal history
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of computers and facsimile machines
  • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
  • May occasionally lift and carry up to 40 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • At least high school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in customer service or related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data entry
  • Effective communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and multitask
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation systems after training
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Ensure appropriate guest check-in and check-out
  • Provide courteous and professional guest services
  • Handle front office, PBX, and concierge duties
  • Maintain updated room status reports and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to promote rooms and services
  • Process reservations and manage guest accounts accurately
  • Resolve guest issues promptly and professionally
