Job Requirements
- At least one year of experience in customer service or related fields
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Successful completion of hotel PMS test with minimum 80% score after training
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
- Background screening for prior criminal history
- Willingness to wear hotel uniform and comply with standards
- Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Preferably one year experience in customer service or related fields
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Emotionally competent with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to speak guests’ preferred language
- Knowledge of front office systems and equipment
- Sales-minded with organizational and administrative skills
Job Duties
- Ensure appropriate checking in and checking out of guests
- Provide services to guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Serve as concierge including making reservations and providing recommendations
- Manage guest reservations and room assignments
- Verify methods of payment and follow credit-checking procedures
- Post guest and room information in the PMS system
- Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping and maintenance
- Use suggestive selling techniques to promote hotel services
- Handle safe deposit box procedures and mail handling
- Attend department meetings and report unusual occurrences
- Adhere to safety and emergency procedures
