Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Front desk or receptionist experience or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for up to 4 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to stay alert during shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Work experience as a hotel front desk agent, receptionist or similar role
  • Experience with hotel reservations software such as Cloudbeds and RoomKeyPMS
  • Customer service attitude
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent sense of judgment
  • Ability to stay alert at all times
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Front desk or receptionist experience or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
  • Create room keys for new guests
  • Manage email reservations
  • Register guests collecting necessary information like contact details and exact dates of their stay
  • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
  • Respond to clients’ concerns and repairs in a timely and professional manner
  • Liaise with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished
  • Maintain updated records of guest enrollment
  • Make regular walk-throughs of the site
  • Monitor premises and personnel by walking the property, monitoring surveillance, and observing access points
  • Investigate security breaches, incidents, and suspicious behavior or activity
  • Send reports on breaches, incidents, and suspicious behaviors to management at the end of each shift
  • Verify guest enrollment before allowing property entrance without a key
  • Think quickly and de-escalate situations that arise
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks assigned
