Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months experience in recreational activity or related field
- ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently
- ability to lift objects over 45lbs with assistance
- strong communication skills
- customer service orientation
- adherence to safety and regulatory standards
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in the assigned recreational activity is desired
- skill to learn MCCS policies rules and regulations
- ability to communicate orally and in writing
- knowledge of basic mathematics
Job Duties
- Provide oversight of recreational activities at the fitness center
- offer general information on the use of equipment
- ensure adherence to regulations and safety procedures
- monitor and secure the premises
- assist with clerical, custodial, and general maintenance duties
- operate cash register and handle payments
- provide world-class customer service with an emphasis on courtesy
