Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months relevant experience in recreational activity
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of basic math
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 45lbs independently
  • Must be able to provide proof of Selective Service registration or exemption if applicable
  • Willingness to adhere to drug-free workplace policies
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Must complete necessary background and suitability checks
  • Direct deposit of net pay required

Job Qualifications

  • Six months experience in assigned recreational activity desired
  • Skill to learn MCCS policies, rules, and regulations
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 45lbs independently and more with assistance

Job Duties

  • Provide oversight of activities and necessary services to authorized patrons
  • Provide general information on the use of equipment
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and safety procedures
  • Monitor and check the security of premises
  • Assist in maintaining routine reports and perform clerical, custodial, and general maintenance duties
  • Operate a cash register, receive payments, and make change
  • Provide World Class Customer Service with courtesy and assist customers
  • Take action to solve problems quickly
  • Alert supervisors or proper contacts when issues arise
  • Report workplace hazards or incidents promptly
  • Adhere to EEO principles and prevention of sexual harassment
  • Perform sanitization, cleanliness, upkeep, and enforce facility rules and regulations
