Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand walk and move for extended periods during shifts
  • Ability to safely lift and handle up to 30 lbs
  • Comfortable working in an environment with dogs pet hair and occasional messes
  • Must be friendly and approachable
  • Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Must have problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Customer service experience
  • Hospitality experience
  • Front desk or concierge experience
  • Ability to work full-time or part-time including weekends
  • Familiarity with scheduling or booking software is a plus
  • Experience in a pet care environment or knowledge of pet services is a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
  • Team-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide prompt friendly service
  • Answer questions about services memberships pricing and events
  • Assist with daycare boarding and grooming check-ins and check-outs
  • Manage bookings and reservations using Skiptown’s software
  • Process payments for services memberships and retail sales
  • Promote Skiptown memberships services and special offers
  • Keep the front desk and lobby clean organized and guest-ready
  • Communicate updates and important information between guests and team members
  • Document and escalate guest concerns or incidents as needed
