Whether working full-time or part-time with a requirement to be available on weekends, Support Skippers set the tone for seamless and memorable visits. As a Support Skipper, your responsibilities will span welcoming guests warmly, answering inquiries about services and memberships, managing bookings using proprietary software, processing payments, and assisting with check-ins and check-outs related to daycare, boarding, and grooming. You will also play a key role in maintaining an inviting front desk and lobby area, ensuring cleanliness and organization, and facilitating clear communication among guests and team members. The role demands friendliness, approachability, multitasking abilities, calmness under pressure, and a team-oriented mindset.

Job Requirements
- Ability to stand walk and move for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to safely lift and handle up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working in an environment with dogs pet hair and occasional messes
- Must be friendly and approachable
- Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Must have problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work weekends
Job Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Hospitality experience
- Front desk or concierge experience
- Ability to work full-time or part-time including weekends
- Familiarity with scheduling or booking software is a plus
- Experience in a pet care environment or knowledge of pet services is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and provide prompt friendly service
- Answer questions about services memberships pricing and events
- Assist with daycare boarding and grooming check-ins and check-outs
- Manage bookings and reservations using Skiptown’s software
- Process payments for services memberships and retail sales
- Promote Skiptown memberships services and special offers
- Keep the front desk and lobby clean organized and guest-ready
- Communicate updates and important information between guests and team members
- Document and escalate guest concerns or incidents as needed
