Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • associate degree preferred
  • minimum of three years experience in office support
  • at least two years experience in higher education preferred
  • professional verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work independently and with a team

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • associate degree preferred
  • at least three years of progressively responsible experience in office support functions
  • at least two of these three years in higher education preferred

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)

Job Duties

  • Serve as the first point of contact for the School of Physical Therapy by greeting visitors, answering phones, taking messages, signing guests in, and directing inquiries appropriately
  • act as a liaison with the main campus as needed
  • Perform routine clerical and office support duties, including photocopying, scanning, filing, sorting, data entry, distributing mail, maintaining office supplies, and organizing program materials and records
  • Support day-to-day office operations by maintaining shared calendars, scheduling rooms as directed, preparing seating charts and locker assignments, organizing event and class materials, and assisting with routine tasks
  • Assist with resource tracking and inventory management, including office supplies, lab supplies, and Physical Therapy equipment, event supplies, etc.
  • receive deliveries and maintain organized storage and shared areas across the department
  • Support facilities and lab upkeep, including monitoring classrooms, labs, and student spaces
  • submitting work orders
  • coordinating laundry pickup and return
  • and assisting with routine setup and breakdown of spaces for special events and classroom activities
  • Assist with catering orders and event logistics for meetings, student events, practical exams, orientations, interviews, community events, and other School activities as directed
  • Maintain professional communication by handling voice messages, and mailings with students, prospective students, guests, vendors, faculty, staff, and campus partners in a timely and courteous manner
  • Use standard office technology and software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat, to complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and respect for individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Contributes to the success of the School of Physical Therapy by performing all other duties as needed to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of the College
