Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance

Job Qualifications

  • Experience with customer service preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • CPR/AED certification required within first 30 days of employment
  • Positive, upbeat, and helpful personality
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Greet members as they enter and exit the facility by name
  • Check in members and guests
  • Help communicate special events to members and guests
  • Aid with all requests, resolve any concerns, or make them known to a manager
  • Follow up with any concerns to ensure its resolution
  • Create and maintain a welcoming and lively atmosphere
  • Schedule personal training and swim lesson appointments
  • Know membership options to discuss with members
  • Facilitate payments and services
  • Answer phones and transfer to appropriate department if necessary
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Filing paperwork
  • Cleaning equipment and keeping the gym environment clean for members
  • Know club facility, services, and schedules
  • Opening and closing duties
  • Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by manager
