Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- strong interpersonal customer service skills, including effective listening, clear verbal and written communication, problem-solving skills
- reliable transportation to travel to practice locations
- ability to master multiple software systems to input and retrieve data
- ability to master ophthalmology and retina terminology

- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a medical practice preferred
- strong interpersonal customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in person and via telephone
- ability to master multiple software systems to input and retrieve data
- ability to master ophthalmology and retina terminology
- bilingual Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Greet and register patients according to established protocols
- Assist patients in completing all forms and documentation including medical insurance
- Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information
- Inform patients of medical office procedures and policy
- Ensuring the availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
- Move patients through appointments as scheduled
- Answer incoming calls and assist with inquiries
- Schedule patient appointments
- Collect payments
- Consistent review of physician schedules, with minimal reschedules
- Obtain external medical reports and maintain patient records as required by medical professionals
- Respond and comply with requests for information
- Register patients with copay assistance foundations
- Maintain a clean and neat reception area
- Additional duties as assigned
