Job Requirements
- Minimum of one year experience in a hotel front desk role
- Proficiency in computer usage including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to handle cash and payment processes accurately
- Capability to maintain calm demeanor in high-pressure situations
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
- Good listening and problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications
- One year experience working as a hotel front desk agent
- Competent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with hotel reservation systems such as Lightspeed, FOSSE, or OnQ is a plus
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Friendly and customer service oriented
- Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work weekends
Job Duties
- Greet guests at check-in with a smile and warm welcome, complete the registration process according to brand and company standards, enter and retrieve guest information from the system, confirm guest identity and room assignment, acknowledge loyalty status and promote marketing programs
- Greet guests at check-out with a smile and warm greeting, complete the check-out process ensuring all charges are accurate, confirm payment methods, process payments, and update guest profiles with preferences
- Demonstrate knowledge of hotel information including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and the local area, and answer guest inquiries
- Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services, facilities, and loyalty programs
- Follow professional phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and offering assistance
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently
- Use active listening skills to resolve guest complaints, escalate issues to management if necessary
- Complete designated start and end-of-shift tasks and reports
- Inform guests about payment methods and verify credit card data
