Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred
- strong communication skills
- proficiency in computer systems and hotel management software
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- bilingual skills in English and Spanish preferred

Job Duties
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs
- set up accurate accounts for each guest checking in
- block rooms in the computer and follow through on designated requirements
- pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets
- communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments and personnel
- maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information
- employ attention to detail in order to ensure security of guest room access
- maintain guest history files on all guests
- accommodate room changes
- document all guest requests, complaints or problems immediately and notify designated department and personnel for resolving the situation
- follow up to ensure completion and guest satisfaction
- maintain complete knowledge at all times of all hotel features and services, hours of operation, room types, numbers, layout, decor, appointments and locations, room rates, special packages and promotions
- work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- handle confidential information including guest records with a high degree of integrity
- promptly and effectively deal with guest requests and complaints
- answer and route calls appropriately
- take guest messages with accuracy
- maintain accurate records including cash flows, registration cards, reservation cards, and property walks
- answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and travel directions
- record pertinent guest information in the pass on log
- ensure common area and lobby is clean
- gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and surrounding area amenities including special events and activities
- answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
- contact appropriate individual or department as necessary to resolve guest call, request, or problem
- review shift logs and daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks
- perform other duties as assigned
