Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- ability to work flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- competency in using hotel management software
- excellent problem-solving skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
- physical ability to stand for long periods
- willingness to work in a team environment

- ability to accurately and efficiently input information into computer systems
- ability to work cohesively with all hotel team members
- willingness to stand for long periods of time
- bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Job Duties
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs
- set up accurate accounts for each guest checking in
- block rooms in the computer and follow designated requirements
- pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets
- communicate pertinent guest information to designated departments and personnel
- maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information
- employ attention to detail to ensure security of guest room access
- maintain guest history files on all guests
- accommodate room changes
- document all guest requests, complaints or problems immediately and notify designated department or personnel for resolving the situation
- follow up to ensure completion and guest satisfaction
- maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features and services
- work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
- handle confidential information with integrity
- promptly deal with guest requests and complaints
- answer and route calls as appropriate
- maintain accurate records including cash flows, registration cards, and reservation cards
- answer inquiries about hotel services and travel directions
- record pertinent guest information in pass on log
- ensure common area and lobby cleanliness
- provide information about property and surrounding area amenities including special events
- process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions or concerns
- contact appropriate departments as necessary to resolve guest issues
- review shift logs and document pertinent information
- perform other duties as assigned
