Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Maintain high standards of guest service, quality and hospitality
  • contribute to guest satisfaction and perception of service
  • register incoming guests with complete information
  • check out guests with correct procedures
  • operate switchboard and take complete messages
  • handle incoming reservations and verify information
  • upsell rooms based on rate structure
  • post charges to guest accounts
  • operate reservation computer system
  • account for guest payments and follow payment procedures
  • check and block reservations daily
  • file reservations properly
  • balance shift report and deposits
  • accept and store guest valuables securely
  • check for "Sleepers"
  • prepare accurate vacancy and room status reports
  • make wake-up calls as requested
  • maintain communication log
  • check and process travel agent commission
  • prepare rooms for renting
  • act as courtesy van driver if needed
  • perform clerical, filing and light bookkeeping
  • close pool and assist in meeting rooms
  • deliver cribs, linens, etc to guests
  • assist guests with VCR and ADA equipment
  • perform other duties as required
