- Supervise and oversee front desk clerks operational activities
- assist clerks and perform front desk duties
- conduct department meetings and communicate front office goals
- ensure compliance with front office policies and procedures
- prepare employee schedules
- address and resolve guest challenges
- create and monitor staff schedules and payroll expenses
- monitor and correct employee performance
- coach and counsel employees
- maintain communication with other hotel departments
- assist in recruiting, managing, training, and developing clerks
- delegate tasks and ensure deadlines are met
- implement new department policies and procedures
- review monthly resume groups
- manage department supplies
- update and verify upsells and commissions
- handle monthly agent incentives
- assist guests with complaints
- run various management reports
- perform other assigned duties
