Job Duties
- Contributes to the departmental and property monthly goals for guest satisfaction scores by delivering exemplary service
- prepares for shift by counting cash bank and reviewing arrivals, departures, and VIPs
- manages day-to-day responsibilities associated with guest arrivals, departures, and needs
- possesses complete knowledge of OnQ Property Management System and reception desk equipment
- answers incoming calls promptly and professionally using hotel answering script
- transmits and receives messages for guests
- greets guests, visitors, and neighbors in a friendly manner
- prioritizes safety and security by adhering to emergency procedures and monitoring potential threats
- masters Quore quality optimization tool for managing requests, complaints, and room readiness
- takes responsibility to rectify guest complaints to their satisfaction
- communicates key information to future shifts
- completes all checklists as required
- performs bucket checks with housekeeping at checkout
- processes late charges after guest checkout
- knows all guest rooms and troubleshooting procedures
- efficiently checks guests out processing payments
- adjusts disputed guest charges when necessary
- receives and stores mail, packages, and luggage for guests
- participates in the hotel’s recruiting program
- prepares the hotel for daily arrivals
- manages reservations and confirms bookings using suggestive selling techniques
- checks guests in following hotel protocols
- gives special attention to VIP guests
- handles room changes and issues replacement room keys
- follows ADA procedures and handles late checkout requests
- posts charges, adjustments, and payments accurately
- maintains cash bank balance
- identifies sales leads and manages sellout situations
- monitors luggage cart usage and assists guests with luggage
- follows procedures with tax exempt customers
- recognizes Hilton Honors benefits and assists with loyalty member signups
- tracks lost and found items
- monitors credit card reports and secures authorizations
- schedules wake up calls and answers inquiries
- actively handles guest complaints and resolves issues
- assists guests with safe deposit boxes
- coordinates with housekeeping on room status
