Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required
- Ability to perform cash handling accurately
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work various shifts including AM, PM, and overnight
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform bending and kneeling
- Ability to operate computer and telephone equipment
- Capacity to manage stressful and emotional customer situations
Job Qualifications

- Experience in customer service dealing directly with the public

Job Duties
- Greets and completes check-in procedures for arriving guests using manual and computerized methods
- Facilitates guest departures by following check-out procedures to close accounts and prepare rooms for sale
- Calculates and posts monies, receipts, and guest charges accurately using proper cash handling procedures
- Answers inquiries and accepts reservations in person and by phone, using suggestive selling techniques to increase occupancy
- Maintains good customer relations by staying informed about in-house and area events to provide knowledgeable responses
- Operates PBX equipment for calls, wake-up calls, and paging guests
- Controls cash transactions at the front desk and manages personal bank per hotel policy
- Maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
