Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- must have strong mathematical skills
- knowledge of cash handling procedures
- familiarity with computerized cash register systems
- experience in customer service dealing directly with the public
- fluent in English both oral and written
- ability to handle stressful and emotional customer service situations tactfully
- highly organized and attentive to written and verbal details
- ability to stand for 90 percent of the shift
- able to bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- able to operate computer, calculator, and telephone
- able to follow verbal and written instructions
- able to work on multiple tasks
- able to communicate effectively

- knowledge of standard cash handling procedures and computerized cash register systems

Job Duties
- Greets and completes established check-in procedures for arriving guests daily
- facilitates guest departure by following established check-out procedures
- regularly calculates and posts monies, receipts, and guest accounts using proper cash handling methods
- courteously answers inquiries and accepts reservations in person and by telephone using suggestive selling techniques
- maintains good customer relations by staying informed of in-house and area functions
- operates PBX equipment to manage calls, wake-up calls, and paging
- controls front desk cash transactions and maintains personal bank responsibility
- maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
