Job Requirements

  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Fluency in other languages is beneficial
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to use POS, PMS, CRM, and other hospitality software

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Previous front desk experience preferred
  • Familiarity with hotel reservation systems
  • State alcohol serving certificate
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate effectively
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically

Job Duties

  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly
  • Maintain positive guest relations and resolve complaints
  • Follow hotel policies on lost and found items
  • Adhere to safety protocols for guest and team member incidents
  • Promote sanitation, safety, and security efforts
  • Encourage social media and review compliments
  • Greet guests warmly and process check-ins and check-outs
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, rates, and policies
  • Manage reservations and room assignments
  • Process payments and handle guest accounts
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve issues
  • Maintain effective communication with all departments
  • Upsell hotel services and amenities
  • Keep the front desk area clean and professional
  • Collaborate with other departments for seamless service
  • Follow safety and security protocols
  • Ensure security of guest room access
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of data
  • Inspect and prepare materials and equipment
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance and use
  • Comply with departmental policies and procedures
  • Operate various computer and software systems
  • Perform other duties as assigned
