Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous customer service experience required
  • previous front desk experience preferred
  • familiarity with hotel reservation systems
  • state alcohol serving certificate
  • ability to learn and use POS, PMS, CRM, and other hospitality software
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency in English
  • fluency in other languages beneficial
  • ability to resolve problems diplomatically
  • strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly
  • maintain positive guest relations at all times
  • resolve guest complaints to satisfaction
  • follow hotel policies with lost and found items
  • adhere to emergency and accident protocols
  • promote sanitation, safety, and security
  • encourage social media and review compliments
  • greet guests warmly, process check-ins and check-outs

  • manage reservations and room assignments
  • process payments and handle guest accounts
  • respond to guest requests professionally
  • maintain communication flow with all departments
  • upsell hotel services and amenities
  • keep front desk area clean and organized

  • ensure security of guest room access
  • maintain confidentiality and security of data
  • inspect and prepare materials and equipment
  • maintain knowledge of equipment maintenance
