Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work day or night 8 hour shifts
  • Flexible schedule with 0 to 3 shifts per week depending on business volume and hotel needs
  • Experience with Opera PMS is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift, move, push, pull objects up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • Superior customer service skills including problem solving and ability to multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail, good follow through, and communication skills
  • Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Exceptional guest service delivery with problem resolution ability
  • Opera PMS experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication and phone skills
  • Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change or guest requests
  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns
  • follow up to ensure each has been met to guests' satisfaction
  • Account balancing and cash handling
  • Ability to understand and uphold hotel and brand standards and expectations
  • General office up keeping and ensuring public areas are cleaned and replenished as needed
  • Knowledge of hotel amenities as well as surrounding area (attractions/restaurants) in order to optimally service guests needs
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and computer skills
  • Capacity to stand or walk for an extended period of time
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Adhere to all work rules, procedures, and policies established by the company including, but not limited to, those contained in the employee handbook
