Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or ged preferred
  • hospitality customer service experience preferred but not required
  • standing for long periods
  • light work exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force frequently
  • may be required to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion

Job Duties

  • greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
  • register and assign rooms to guests
  • issue room keys and provide instructions to guests ensuring room numbers are not announced publicly
  • handle communications through telephone fax and switchboard
  • answer inquiries about hotel services guest registration and local shopping dining entertainment and travel directions
  • keep records of room availability and guests' accounts
  • compute bills collect payments and make change for guests
