Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hospitality industry preferred
- Experience in front desk or customer service roles preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for up to four hours
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Basic computer literacy
- Good communication skills
- Ability to operate office equipment
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Willingness to work varying schedules
- Maintain neat and well-groomed appearance
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Attend all scheduled training and meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hospitality industry preferred
- Experience in front desk or customer service roles preferred
- Good communication skills, verbal and written
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office
- Knowledge of PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate leadership
- Strong issue resolution and analytical skills
- Ability to effectively deal with customers requiring patience, tact, and diplomacy
Job Duties
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival
- Execute the registration and checkout process at the front desk
- Accept payment for guests accounts both at registration and checkout
- Maintain a house bank and deposit accurate reports of receipts daily
- Cash checks and exchange currency for guests
- Accurately handle cash transactions and balance cash drawer
- Acknowledge rewards members and returning guests
- Manage guest bookings and up-selling opportunities
- Review arrival reports and ensure room assignments meet special requests
- Attend scheduled training and meetings
- Ensure awareness of promotions, VIPs, conferences, and shuttles
- Practice safe work habits
- Follow privacy and security protocols
- Answer and transfer calls promptly
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs
- Log guest requests and follow up to ensure satisfaction
- Provide information on hotel policies, services, and local attractions
- Maintain lobby cleanliness and organization
- Assist in booking reservations
- Handle mail, packages, and guest items
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
