Job Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age
  • One year guest service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management systems
  • Ability to handle cash and bank drawer
  • Schedule flexibility to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong guest service and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • Must tolerate noise, smoke, and varying temperature levels
  • Ability to secure and maintain state or tribal gaming license
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year guest service experience
  • Hospitality or hotel front desk experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experienced with lodging and property management systems
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
  • Effective problem-solving and guest service abilities
  • Knowledge of business etiquette and professional interactions
  • Ability to handle cash and perform cashiering duties
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism

Job Duties

  • Provide hospitality in a friendly manner
  • Greet and assist guests during registration and check-out
  • Offer information and directions regarding hotel services and amenities
  • Resolve guest issues using service recovery tools
  • Cross train in call center duties including answering phones and making reservations
  • Register guests and assign rooms
  • Communicate with housekeeping and sales departments
  • Maintain accurate reservation systems
  • Perform cashiering and cash handling duties
  • Answer and route phone calls promptly and courteously
  • Promote property amenities, dining options, and events
  • Ensure confidentiality of guest information
  • Complete daily paperwork and file folios
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and lobby areas as needed
  • Comply with casino and hotel policies and regulations
  • Participate in dispute resolution
  • Adhere to all regulatory, tribal, casino, and hotel rules and procedures
