- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions

- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Duties
- Books guest reservations and/or coordinates with reservation center
- Registers guests in a prompt and courteous manner using up-selling techniques
- Prepares for group check-ins, check-outs, and VIP arrivals
- Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests
- Handles confidential guest information with high integrity
- Answers and routes calls, takes guest messages accurately
- Assists with sales and marketing efforts as directed
- Offers and manages wake-up call requests
- Records pertinent guest information in the pass on log
- Replenishes continental breakfast and maintains cleanliness
- Ensures common area and lobby cleanliness
- Performs laundry functions as directed
- Processes customer payments and balances cash at shift start and end
- Promotes hotel services and local attractions
- Resolves minor guest complaints and escalates major issues
- Responds promptly to guest requests and follows up for satisfaction
- Completes daily paperwork including cashier reports and deposits
- Transmits and receives messages using various communication equipment
- Maintains a professional appearance and follows company policies
