Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Experience in hospitality or related customer service preferred
- Must work well in high-pressure situations
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Desire to provide outstanding guest service
- Ability to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Punctuality and adherence to scheduled clock-in and clock-out times
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 pounds
- Willingness to pitch in to assist with cleanliness and other duties as needed
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, service, or consumer-facing roles preferred
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn
- Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Strong hospitality and guest service orientation
- Ability to listen, understand, clarify, and resolve guest and co-worker concerns
- Capability to work well under pressure
- Basic proficiency with relevant technology
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work collaboratively to contribute to guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of hotel features and amenities
- Support events and group activities at the hotel
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using approved greetings
- Keep all areas clean and well-organized both front and back of house
- Pitch in to clean guest rooms and public spaces as needed
- Greet guests warmly while performing cleaning duties
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
- Provide accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed with a nametag
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude willing to stretch beyond traditional roles
- Collaborate effectively to create a welcoming environment for guests and positive workplace
- Ensure timely guest check-in and check-out processes
- Contact guests post check-in to confirm their satisfaction and needs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room rates and promotions
- Receive and log incoming mail as required by shift checklist
