Job Requirements

  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving concerns of co-workers and guests
  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to perform this job
  • Must be willing to work a varied schedule including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift worked and clock out at scheduled shift ending time unless directed otherwise
  • Must clock in/out for breaks at designated times
  • Must provide sufficient notice when calling out for a scheduled shift

  • Ability to perform essential functions of the job satisfactorily

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to personalize service
  • Work collaboratively to contribute to guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Use relevant technology proficiently
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests with hospitality while cleaning
  • Accurately complete all operational checklists every shift
  • Ensure timely and accurate shift handover reports
  • Wear clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Demonstrate a can-do attitude by meeting the needs of the business and guests
  • Collaborate to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
  • Check-in and check-out guests efficiently
  • Follow up with guests after check-in to ensure satisfaction
  • Stay informed about room rates and promotions
  • Receive and note incoming mail per daily checklist
