Job Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • ability to stand and move throughout the front office for the duration of the shift
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • ability to perform frequent talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling
  • availability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
  • skill in basic arithmetic and cash handling

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior hospitality experience preferred
  • skill in using a calculator and performing moderately complex math
  • ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers using patience and tact
  • ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
  • ability to input information accurately using computer systems
  • hearing and visual ability to detect emergency situations

Job Duties

  • Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
  • complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system
  • verify and imprint credit cards for authorization and handle cash transactions
  • promptly answer the telephone and input messages into the computer
  • close guest accounts at check out and ensure guest satisfaction
  • field guest complaints and develop solutions
  • adhere to all company policies and procedures and follow safety and security measures
