Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- ability to stand and move throughout the front office for the duration of the shift
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- ability to perform frequent talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling
- availability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
- skill in basic arithmetic and cash handling
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior hospitality experience preferred
- skill in using a calculator and performing moderately complex math
- ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers using patience and tact
- ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- ability to input information accurately using computer systems
- hearing and visual ability to detect emergency situations
Job Duties
- Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
- complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system
- verify and imprint credit cards for authorization and handle cash transactions
- promptly answer the telephone and input messages into the computer
- close guest accounts at check out and ensure guest satisfaction
- field guest complaints and develop solutions
- adhere to all company policies and procedures and follow safety and security measures
