Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
  • Effective communication skills
  • Capacity to stand or move for extended periods during shifts
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, with assistance for heavier items
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with hotel management software
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Positive and professional attitude

Job Duties

  • Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key
  • Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
  • Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges
  • Answer, record, and process guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in
  • Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest
  • Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy
  • Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer systems
