Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles preferred
- Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Effective communication skills
- Capacity to stand or move for extended periods during shifts
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, with assistance for heavier items
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with hotel management software
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Positive and professional attitude
Job Duties
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key
- Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
- Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges
- Answer, record, and process guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in
- Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed
- Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest
- Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy
- Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer systems
