Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Proficiency in computer and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Professional and courteous demeanor
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in guest services or hotel front desk preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to use computer systems and point-of-sale terminals
- Knowledge of hotel operations and local area is a plus
- Ability to handle cash and process various forms of payment
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests and complete the registration process including inputting and retrieving information from the computer and confirming guest information and room rate
- Assist guests with check-out including ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted and using the point-of-sale system
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and the local area to answer guest questions
- Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize room occupancy
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Field guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction
- Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests
