Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Proficiency in computer and point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Professional and courteous demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in guest services or hotel front desk preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use computer systems and point-of-sale terminals
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and local area is a plus
  • Ability to handle cash and process various forms of payment
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and complete the registration process including inputting and retrieving information from the computer and confirming guest information and room rate
  • Assist guests with check-out including ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted and using the point-of-sale system
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information including room categories, room rates, packages, promotions, and the local area to answer guest questions
  • Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize room occupancy
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Field guest complaints, conduct research and resolve and negotiate solutions for guest satisfaction
  • Receive, input, retrieve and relay messages to guests
