Job Duties

  • Record reservations received verbally or in writing and enter them into the hotel computer system
  • Quote rates and room availability according to established procedures
  • Process and cancel reservations following appropriate procedures
  • Answer telephones promptly and route calls or provide assistance to callers
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and efficient check-in, check-out, and reservation services
  • Inform guests of required information and answer questions about the resort and local area
  • Communicate and coordinate with coworkers, supervisors, and managers in all departments
  • Process accurate cash and credit card transactions
  • Promote the hotel/casino and its services and facilities
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Group Sales, and VIP Services to meet guest needs
