Job Requirements

  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for shifts and clock out as scheduled
  • Must clock in and out for breaks as scheduled
  • Provide sufficient notice when calling out for scheduled shifts
  • Ability to stand or remain stationary for periods of 3-4 hours
  • Proficient typing and operating office machinery
  • Ability to lift and transport supplies up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to inspect and visually observe details from close and long range
  • Ability to occasionally lift packages or office equipment
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Must perform all essential job functions satisfactorily

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures

  • Strong communication skills
  • Genuine desire to serve guests
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work together to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
  • Possess strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Understand and use relevant technology proficiently
  • Answer all incoming calls with friendly service and approved greeting
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Participate in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests while cleaning with a smile and by name if possible
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time every shift
  • Produce accurate and timely shift handover reports
  • Wear clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed with a nametag and smile at all times
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
  • Display a can-do attitude and willingness to go beyond traditional role
  • Work collaboratively to create a welcoming environment and positive workplace
  • Ensure all guests are checked in and out efficiently
  • Contact guests after check-in to ensure room satisfaction
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room rates and promotions
  • Receive and log incoming mail per daily shift checklist
