Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel front desk or customer-facing role
  • excellent computer literacy
  • availability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to handle cash and electronic payments
  • experience with PBX systems

  • Prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a hotel or customer service role in a high-volume industry

Job Duties

  • Greet and register guests
  • check guests out of the hotel
  • perform registration including inputting guest information and confirming room rates
  • code electronic keys
  • assist guests with check-out
  • ensure accurate accounting of rooms and services
  • use point-of-sale system
  • handle money and process payments including credit, debit, foreign currency, gift certificates, and cards
  • demonstrate knowledge of hotel information including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area
  • answer guest questions and inquiries
  • use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
  • respond to guest inquiries and requests
  • resolve guest issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • handle guest complaints and negotiate solutions for satisfaction
  • demonstrate PBX experience
